FMR India Asha Niketan, Nandi Bazar is a Home of Hope where men and women with intellectual disabilities, who are often marginalized by their families and society, are provided with a dignified place to live and grow. The community is committed to creating an environment that enables each individual to develop their potential and contribute their unique gifts for the well-being of others.
Make known the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities through mutually transforming relationships. Foster an environment in the community that responds to the changing needs of our members whilst being faithful to the core values of our founding story. Engage in our diverse cultures, working together towards a more human society.
We are people with and without intellectual disabilities, sharing life in communities. Mutual Relationships and trust in God are at the heart of our journey together. We celebrate the unique value of every person and recognize our need for one another.
CHRIS SADLER
Our organization owes its existence to the vision and dedication of Chris Sadler, a compassionate advocate for those with intellectual disabilities. Born and raised in England, Chris Sadler was driven by a deep sense of purpose to make a difference in the lives of individuals who are intellectually disabled.
Our community is a home for individuals with special needs, where they are cared for with love, dignity, and respect. For many, this is the only place where they feel safe, accepted, and valued.
Every day, we provide food, medical care, personal support, and emotional attention. These basic needs are made possible through the kindness and generosity of people who believe that every life matters.
By supporting us, you become part of their journey. Your contribution helps us continue this mission and brings comfort, care, and hope to those who depend on us.
Asha Niketan is a community of faith. It welcomes people of all religions and encourages them to find peace by helping them deepen their own faith, in an atmosphere that is harmonious and spiritually uplifting.
“We welcome men and women regardless of creed, race and caste. We welcome them and their pain. We want to offer them a real home and create with them a new form of family. The community life needs to be supported and unified by a true spiritual life, which gives the strength to accept differences and to forgive.”
